Wordpress is more easy to install and setup. It is more convenient to use as blog. When you post something on the wordpress blog it link it automatically and update in post list. We can also create separate pages. It needs more skill to customize as a website. You can download template and install to change to change view. If you needs some change as, to change login and register form position or page you need developer skills or you have install plugin.Joomla install and set up not easy, as compare to wordpress. But It can be used as website easily and not need more developer skills to customize like a website. When we post a article we have to select section to post in that or we can link it to a menu title to treat as separate page. In joomla 1.7 you can create login and register page from control panel without any developer skill. Joomla 1.5 comes with three front-end templates.
